The Finger Lakes will remain mostly dry on Friday, even as a nor’easter brings snow to areas just to the east and lake snows fall across western NY.
Light lake effect snow continues Thursday across parts of the Finger Lakes. High pressure will put an end to the lake effect, and keep a major snow storm out of our region this weekend.
A very cold air mass continues to produce lake effect snow downwind of Lake Ontario and Lake Erie.
