The remains of Debby are heading out of the Finger Lakes now that we are into the middle of the afternoon.
Widespread flooding across Steuben and Ontario counties have been reported, and a Flash Flood Emergency continues for Steuben County. Most FLX counties are under a flash flood warning.
Gusty winds have prompted the NWS to issue a Wind Advisory across the southeastern half of the region. Winds will taper off late this afternoon and early this evening.

Drew, thank you for this morning’s reporting. Definitely eased a lot of anxiety re flooding here on West Hill in Ithaca. Those of us in this part of Tompkins County were very lucky…no major sustained downpours which meant no flooded garages and basements. It’s 2:28pm….there’s blue sky and the sun is shining. Thank you again.
