A flash flood warning continues for the southwestern Finger Lakes with multiple flooding reports coming out of Steuben County. A particularly heavy band of rain is moving through the area, likely causing significant flooding problems for the area.
Roads are being washed out and a measured rainfall amount of 3.74 inches was reported near Troupsburg in SW Steuben County at 11:12 AM.
This heavy rain band will continue north-northeast across the warning area, producing additional flooding.
This is a dangerous situation. There are multiple reports of people trapped by flood waters with water rescues ongoing.
