Light snow has broken out ahead of a small storm system dropping through the Great Lakes.
This snow will spread over the Finger Lakes this evening and continue into the first part of the night. Additional flurries are likely to continue into Sunday morning.
Accumulations from this system will be around an inch for the most part. Some of the higher elevations of western New York could see two or even three inches.
For the most part though, this system should not have a huge impact on us, though untreated roads could be a little slippery in spots tonight.
Daylight Savings Time, of course, starts tonight! Make sure you set your clocks AHEAD 1 hour and test your smoke detectors before you go to bed tonight! I would also greatly appreciate having your vote today in the Grant Contest!
I unofficially rank 5th in the voting, but am moving up quickly and hope to move into at least 3rd before the contest ends on the 17th! Remember: you can vote once per 24 hour period for EACH account you have on Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram, making for up to 3 votes each day! Please continue to spread the word about my push into the Top 3! VOTE HERE!
