Weather on Repeat
There will be very little variation in the weather over the coming days as high pressure dominates much of the country.
This tranquil weather pattern will continue the remainder of the week and into the weekend. The only real day-to-day difference will be the temperatures.
Most of the Finger Lakes has clear skies to start off today. There are a couple places with some fog, but that will quickly burn off this morning.
Clouds will be hard to come by today with mostly sunny skies from start to finish. Clear skies and light winds will continue overnight with the pattern starting all over again for Wednesday, Thursday, and beyond.
Temperatures today will top out near or just above 70 degrees. Wednesday will be almost the same, but perhaps one or two degrees cooler. Thursday will settle in the low 70s with a few mid 70s towards Rochester.
Morning lows today were a touch cooler than the models indicated with all the area dropping into the 40s. A few of the typically colder areas fell into the low and mid 40s. Similar temperatures should be expected Wednesday and Thursday morning.
Daytime high temperatures will steadily increase Friday, Saturday, and Sunday while the sunny, dry pattern continues. Look for mid and upper 70s Friday, highs near or above 80 degrees Saturday, and into the low and mid 80s Sunday.
Our next chance for substantial cloud cover and rain will not come until Monday.
