Late morning thunderstorms will continue through the afternoon, a couple of which may briefly become strong.

Showers and thunderstorms are developing across the Finger Lakes as low-pressure tracks across Lake Ontario and a cold front approaches from the west.

These storms will be with us through the afternoon. Scattered low-end severe storms will be possible, especially in the yellow area. This means some small hail or gusty winds which may cause some sporadic tree damage will be possible.
