High Pressure Dominates
A large area of high pressure will keep our weather consistently quiet and warm right through the weekend.
There is truly very little to say about the weather over the upcoming days. As high pressure continues to establish itself, temperatures will rise a bit more, but then level off and stay consistent.
Wednesday will see highs in the upper 70s with a few low 80s. Thursday will see low 80s with a few mid 80s. The low and mid 80s will then persist through the weekend and into early next week.
Nighttime temperatures will mainly range through the upper half of the 50s with a few low 60s. Wednesday night will be slightly cooler, and Sunday night may be slightly warmer.
Winds over this stretch will mainly be light and variable and frequently calm.
A few thin clouds will drift through on Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will be mostly sunny with a few small fair weather clouds.
Fair weather clouds may increase slightly this weekend, but it will still be very sunny.
Dry weather should persist well into next week. Toward the end of the week, there may be some chances for rain, but it is too far out and too sporadic on the models to have any confidence in that at this time.
Not even Hurricane Francine will dislodge this high pressure. Francine will be blocked from making northward progress and will dissipate over the lower Mississippi Valley by the weekend.
Without any meaningful changes in the day-to-day weather, I am going to take an extremely rare break from my morning blog post on Thursday. My next post will come Friday morning.
This isn’t time off, though… the zip-code forecasts will be updated, as always, and I will be busy behind the scenes getting the 2025 calendar ready. I am hoping to have it available for sale before the end of the month! Stay tuned!
