Sunshine will be filtered by thin clouds at least occasionally on Thursday, if not most of the day. Clearing skies are likely by the late afternoon and continuing into the evening. It will be a cool day with most areas seeing a high between 55-60 degrees, but with a few warmer pockets, mainly in the Southern Tier. Temperatures Thursday night will drop to the low and mid 40s. The best chance for some pockets of upper 30s will be in southwestern Steuben County.

Temperatures mostly in the mid and upper 50s, with highs near or a bit above 60 degrees in the Southern Tier and around Ithaca, Watkins Glen, and Syracuse.
