Wind will be from the northwest and north at up to 10 mph. Temperatures will top out in the mid and upper 70s with dewpoints around 60 degrees. Clear skies and cool temperatures are likely tonight with lows in the mid and upper 50s.
Saturday
What: Sun and clouds.
Saturday is looking similar to Friday with dry conditions under a mix of sun and clouds. Winds will be from the north at 5-10 mph. Temperatures and humidity will be similar, with highs in the mid and upper 70s and dewpoints around 60. After a period of calm winds during the evening, a light southeast wind will develop overnight. Lows will be in the low 60s with a few upper 50s.
Sunday
What: Afternoon showers and storms
South-southwest winds will become steady on Sunday with speeds around or over 10 mph. This will bring dewpoints back into the 60s with afternoon highs in the upper 70s. Showers and thunderstorms will develop during the afternoon and linger into the evening hours. Severe weather is generally not expected, but locally heavy rain will be possible.
Monday
What: A few showers.
A few showers will be possible on Monday in the wake of Sunday’s weather system. These will likely be spotty, sporadic and light. Temperatures will likely be in the mid 70s with northwest winds of 5-10 mph.
Tuesday
What: Sun and clouds.
High pressure is expected to build in by Tuesday, bringing quiet weather, though a stray shower in the morning cannot be totally ruled out at this point. Highs will be in the upper 70s with dewpoints falling back to the upper 50s.
Wednesday
What: Sun and clouds.
Quiet weather will likely extend into Wednesday. There will be a weather system approaching, so the chance for some late showers may need to be added later on if that system moves in faster than it is currently projected to. Temperatures will continue to remain steady in the upper 70s. Light south winds may bring dewpoints up a little into the low 60s.
Thursday
What: Scattered showers
Showers will be possible sometime on Thursday, depending on the timing of the incoming weather system. There is a chance much of the rain could fall later Wednesday night into early Thursday, but it is too far out to count on that holding true.
Next Weekend & Beyond
Some models show some rain chances next weekend, but the uncertainty is high. Same can be said for the following week, which likely means there will be a day or two with some showers mixed in with several dry days in a very typical summertime pattern. Temperatures will continue to be mild and close to climatological averages with mainly 70s for highs.
