A stalled out frontal boundary has been sitting to our south since late last week. Finally, this front will push north through the Finger Lakes area, resulting in a very moist air mass settling in.
A stalled out frontal boundary has been sitting to our south since late last week. Finally, this front will push north through the Finger Lakes area, resulting in a very moist air mass settling in.
Rain showers should arrive in the Finger Lakes region this afternoon as an area of precipitation out ahead of a warm front moves east.
A frontal boundary is draped over the Finger Lakes this morning. An area of low pressure is riding along this front over the Mid-west and should bring some showers into the Finger Lakes by this evening.
Just as the world was starting to turn from white to brown to green, and just as everyone was getting used to t-shirts and not needing jackets, today happens.
The weather is starting to look a bit interesting for late this afternoon into the evening with some of the first strong thunderstorms of 2015 possible.
