High pressure will continue to dominate our weather with clear skies for the next couple of days. This weekend, a significant low pressure system just off the Eastern Seaboard will meander up the coast. While heavy rain is unlikely in our area, whether we see any rain at all is still a major uncertainty. At a minimum, this system should bring us clouds and some breezy north winds over the weekend. A stalled out frontal boundary remains draped over the region with waves of atmospheric energy passing along the front bringing waves of rain and thunder. This pattern will continue today and tomorrow, interacting with a warm and humid air mass.
