Quiet, cold Thursday, but turning warmer
High pressure will deliver a cold, but sunny Thursday. South winds on the backside of the high will bring warmer air to the Finger Lakes.

Lake effect snows will move south into the Finger Lakes, accompanied by gusty winds and sub-zero wind chills.
Southerly winds on the back side of high pressure over Virginia will help temperatures return to near 40 degrees on Saturday.
The Finger Lakes will remain mostly dry on Friday, even as a nor’easter brings snow to areas just to the east and lake snows fall across western NY.
The weather for the next few days will be fairly quiet across the Finger Lakes.
