The Finger Lakes will likely miss out on some more active weather this afternoon as showers and thunderstorms develop over central New York and move eastward.
Freeze warnings and frost advisories are in effect for all of the Finger Lakes region as an already chilly air mass gets reinforced by a cold front this morning.
Long gone is the hot and humid airmass that has been baking the Finger Lakes since late last week. In its place, below normal temperatures are moving in.
With hot and humid air in place and a small disturbance swinging into the region, showers and thunderstorms are beginning to quickly develop.
