Thursday may start off with a few stray showers, but the much higher chance for rain will come after 3 PM, when scattered showers and thunderstorms pop up across the region. Any storms will be capable of heavy downpours and some gusty winds, but severe weather and flooding are generally not expected outside of possibly some minor, isolated instances.
