A cold front will move through the region during the midday hours Friday. A couple stray showers or storms may be possible in the afternoon until humidity levels drop late in the day. Temperatures will peak in the mid 80s during the midday. Friday night will be much more comfortable than recent nights with lows in the 50s and low 60s and low humidity.

Temperatures mainly in the mid 80s.

Most areas stay dry, but a couple stray showers or storms, mainly east of Cayuga Lake or in the Southern Tier.
West winds around 10 mph.
Temperatures mainly in the low 80s.
Late Afternoon (5-7 PM)
Mixed skies.
No precipitation expected.
Northwest and west winds 5-10 mph.
Temperatures around 80 degrees. Humidity levels begin to drop.
Evening (7-11 PM)
Becoming clear.
No precipitation expected.
Northwest and west winds around 5 mph.
Temperatures fall to the upper 60s. Humidity levels continue to drop.

Mostly clear.
