After starting mostly quiet, Wednesday will see rain spiral back into the area from the north with showers and some areas of widespread, steadier rain likely in the afternoon and evening hours. Flooding should not be a concern. High temperatures will struggle, and in some cases fail, to reach 70 degrees. A steady northwest wind will blow throughout the day and into the night.

Early Morning (3-7 AM)

Cloudy.

A stray shower or two.

Southwest winds under 5 mph.

Cloudy.

A few scattered showers, especially late in the morning.

Northwest winds around 10 mph.

Temperatures rising to the mid and upper 60s.

Midday (11 AM-1 PM)

Cloudy.

Showers become more common. Possibly some widespread rain entering from the north.

Northwest winds 10-15 mph.

Temperatures mainly in the upper 60s with a few warmer and cooler pockets.

Scattered to numerous showers and some areas of steadier rain.

Temperatures in the upper 60s to around 70 degrees with a few cooler higher elevations.
