Lingering flurries will end today as winds turn towards the south, setting the Finger Lakes up for a very nice day on Saturday.
Thursday will remain rather snowy, but quiet and mild conditions are expected to settle in for the weekend.
A cold front is bringing bursts of snow to the Finger Lakes Wednesday morning and will set the stage for some areas of lake effect snow tonight into Thursday.
Southerly winds and periods of sunny skies will help boost temperatures into the low 40s this afternoon. Rain and snow return tonight.
Travel conditions will remain dangerous, especially Monday morning, as snow continues to fall and the wind continues to blow.
