Temperatures will remain well below normal through the weekend with periods of snow and strong winds.
Temperatures will fall back into the 20s this afternoon, but will feel even colder with strong winds.
Occasional lake effect snow showers will pass through the Finger Lakes on Friday along with strong, gusty winds.
Most of the region will see very little to no ice accumulation, but even a thin coating can be slippery.
