Monday
What: Showers and a few downpours
The frontal boundary that ended the heat over the weekend remains over the area. Scattered to numerous showers are expected today with a few heavier downpours possible during the afternoon. A few places may mostly end up missed by the rain, especially north of the Thruway. Localized minor flooding could occur in any slow-moving downpour, but most areas will not see excessive rain. Temperatures will generally be in the low and mid 70s with a few upper 70s north of the Thruway. Winds will be from the east and southeast at 5-10 mph. Showers will continue through the night.
Tuesday
What: Sun and clouds.
Rain should depart the area before sunrise Tuesday, though a stray morning shower cannot be ruled out, especially over the southeastern Finger Lakes. Sunshine will gradually increase, though some areas may stay cloudy deep into the afternoon. It will still be a bit muggy with dewpoints in the 60s, while afternoon highs will range through the 70s. Winds will be from the east and southeast at 5-10 mph.
Wednesday
What: Sun and clouds.

Thursday
What: Scattered showers and storms.
Scattered showers and storms may pop up on Thursday during the afternoon hours, but there remains a fair bit of uncertainty. Temperatures should push into the mid 80s with dewpoints in the upper half of the 60s. Winds will be southwest 5-10 mph.
Friday
What: Rain and thunderstorms
A frontal boundary will move through on Friday with rain and thunderstorms. Precipitation is more likely on Friday than on Thursday. Temperatures will take a step back, topping out in the upper 70s. It will be muggy with upper 60s dewpoints. Winds will turn from the southwest early to the northwest late with 5-10 mph speeds.
Saturday
What: Maybe an early shower.
Depending on how quickly Friday’s front moves along, there may or may not be a chance for a few early showers on Saturday. Dry conditions are expected by the afternoon. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 70s with a slight reduction in humidity. Winds will be northwest around 10 mph.
Sunday
What: Sun and clouds.
At this time, Sunday looks partly cloudy with highs nosing their way back toward or above 80 degrees. Winds will be light from the north around 5 mph.
