Monday brought some scattered severe thunderstorms and beneficial rain to some parts of the Finger Lakes.
Scattered thunderstorms will develop during the midday and early afternoon hours with a threat for damaging winds.
The heart of the Finger Lakes region has been classified as a Level 2 Drought as of earlier this week.
Heat Index Values will be dangerously high in the upper 90s for parts of the Finger Lakes today.
