Tuesday’s wintry mix was the result of warm air making an attempt to push north while, at the same time, cold air tried to move south.
Weather conditions will improve throughout the day on Monday thanks to high pressure over the Midwest.
A weak disturbance will pass to our south today as it tracks from the mid-Mississippi Valley towards New England.
Just when temperatures started to be a little tolerable, another cold front is pushing through the region, reinforcing our cold air.
