Temperatures will drop throughout the day today as cold air floods into the region from the north. Precipitation will primarily be a morning problem, with rain and a few snow showers.
Clouds remain thick across the Finger Lakes Thursday morning as strong frontal system to our south brings wintry weather from New England into the Deep South.
Tuesday’s wintry mix was the result of warm air making an attempt to push north while, at the same time, cold air tried to move south.
