Hot and humid airmass won’t go quietly Thursday

The weather today will vary greatly from location to location as a disturbance tracks north-northeast out of Pennsylvania towards western New York.
A cold front will cross the Finger Lakes early this afternoon. A small line of strong thunderstorms may briefly develop just ahead of this front.
A much more comfortable, but still warm, day is in store for the Finger Lakes after Sunday’s heat and before Tuesday’s showers and storms.
Flash flood watches have been issued for the western FLX and additional watches may be issued for the remainder of the region this morning.
