After a quiet daytime, an intense snow squall is likely Friday evening ahead of an arctic cold front. Dangerous wind chills will develop this weekend.
The vast majority of the Finger Lakes will be quiet today, with a mix of sun and clouds. For a 10-20 mile wide stripe running roughly along Route 38, it might as well be mid-winter all over again.

It is a bitterly cold morning across the Finger Lakes, with many areas at or below 0º. Wind chills this morning, as expected, are as cold as -25º across the region.
