Flash flood watches have been issued for the western FLX and additional watches may be issued for the remainder of the region this morning.
An area of high pressure will slide through the region today, bringing us quiet weather for Friday.
A cold front will move through the Finger Lakes this afternoon, but a lack of support from the mid and upper levels of the atmosphere will mitigate the severe and flash flooding risk.
