A hot and humid day is in store for the Finger Lakes with temperatures starting the day in the mid and upper 60s.
After an active afternoon and evening on Monday, the weather will be much calmer on Tuesday as a cold front approaches.
Flash flood warnings and severe thunderstorm warnings are in effect for parts of the northern and western Finger Lakes as a line of slow moving heavy thunderstorms drifts east.
A stalled out frontal boundary has been sitting to our south since late last week. Finally, this front will push north through the Finger Lakes area, resulting in a very moist air mass settling in.
