An area of low pressure will track from the Midwest across our region on Thursday, bringing a period of heavy rain to most of the area.
Friday may turn out to be another very active day across the Finger Lakes region with severe thunderstorms and flash flooding concerns from the mid afternoon well into the evening hours.
Severe thunderstorms left a path of tree and structure damage across the northern Finger Lakes on Wednesday evening.
Most of Wednesday will be quiet with a mix of sun and clouds and warm temperatures. A brief shower may be possible in the afternoon, but rain is more likely this evening as a cold front approaches.
