Snow for southern FLX on Friday

An area of low pressure will move across the Mid-Atlantic on Friday, spreading light snow into the southern parts of the Finger Lakes.

Narrow, but intense lake effect over eastern FLX

The vast majority of the Finger Lakes will be quiet today, with a mix of sun and clouds. For a 10-20 mile wide stripe running roughly along Route 38, it might as well be mid-winter all over again.

Morning precipitation ahead of dropping Tuesday temperatures

Temperatures will drop throughout the day today as cold air floods into the region from the north. Precipitation will primarily be a morning problem, with rain and a few snow showers.
