Hot and humid conditions will persist on Thursday with highs in the mid 80s and dewpoints in the 70s. This environment will be suitable for thunderstorm development, but without a feature to trigger storms, it remains very uncertain where, when, and how many, if any, storms may develop. Anything that does form could have strong winds and hail to go with frequent lightning and torrential downpours. Many areas will likely end up dry most or all of the day, though. Humidity will increase further on Wednesday, making for a soupy air mass to go with highs in the low and mid 80s. This atmosphere will be primed to support thunderstorms, but there will be no widespread, significant trigger to get the storms going. Still, scattered thunderstorms will likely bubble up during the afternoon hours, with stray showers and storms also possible especially in the morning, but really at any time of the day.
