More arctic cold is moving into the Finger Lakes on Monday, February 23.

Finger Lakes Weather is back online! Forecast data will be updated and current by noon!  

Over the next few hours, the squall- which shows up nicely on radar as the bright green band pictured above.

A dangerous combination of bitter cold, wind and snow will create possibly life threatening conditions across the Finger Lakes Saturday evening through Sunday.

It is a bitterly cold morning across the Finger Lakes, with many areas at or below 0º. Wind chills this morning, as expected, are as cold as -25º across the region.

Most of the Finger Lakes is under a Wind Chill Warning from Thursday afternoon into Friday morning or afternoon.

Temperatures today will climb to near 30º- a near heat wave for the Finger Lakes. Enjoy it while it lasts.

A complex winter storm will develop across the Finger Lakes by Sunday afternoon and continuing through Monday. This storm is so complex, I could not properly communicate the forecast in one, or even two maps.

Winter Storm Watches are in effect for the entire Finger Lakes region as a complex storm system makes its way towards us as early as Sunday morning.

A pair of weather systems are combining forces to bring some changeable weather to the Finger Lakes today and tomorrow.

Clear skies over most of the region have allowed temperatures to drop to near or below 0º this morning.

Winds are gusting to 30mph over western New York on the back side of the low pressure, which is located over northwest Pennsylvania now.
