A cold front will be poised north of the region but will not make much southward movement during the day. As a result, breezy southwest winds will pump warm air in with highs in the mid and upper 70s. A few showers will be possible in the morning, with a few more late in the afternoon with a chance for a thunderstorm. Some strong thunderstorm winds could be possible.
